Boise, Idaho claimed No. 8 as one of the 50 Safest Cities in the World. The capital of Idaho lies in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. That makes for beautiful hiking trails, but Boise also has plenty of museums, galleries, and restaurants to explore too, and it’s only growing. It has a safety index of 82.29.
