Here’s Why Boise is Attracting New Residents and Visitors
Idaho’s western side gets very little talk. Nearly seven hours from Yellowstone on the other side of the state, Boise is extremely isolated and far from any major hubs or widely-recognized National Parks. For a long time, Boise remained overlooked, left to itself. The past few years have seen things change. Locals talk freely about the eye test of their developing city, and the research seems to agree. In 2018, Boise was named the fastest-growing city in the country by Forbes. Why are people flocking to Boise? We went to see for ourselves.

Homes Sold in Ada County Sets New Record
December 12, 2017
Ada County home sales surpassed the $3 billion-mark for the first time, based on Total Dollar Volume figures year-to-date, January 1 – November 30, 2017. Historically, the month of December adds another $100-150 million worth of sales, on average going back to 2005, so we should see Total Dollar Volume exceed $3.1 billion for all of 2017. Year-to-date through November 2017, nearly 10,000 homes sold in Ada County, up just 2.6% compared to 2016. Breaking this down by property type illustrates the impact limited supply has had on existing home prices, as well as higher building costs… Continue reading

Idaho is #1 Top Performing Economy
August 18, 2017 by Bloomberg – Matthew A. Winkler
Idaho has fewer people than Houston, still grows the most potatoes, and outperform all 49 other states with a 21st-century economy that shows that the U.S. does best when it puts the world first. Idaho relies heavily on international trade for its economics success. It’s had the best combination over the 12 months that ended on March 31 of robust personal income, job growth, stock-market gains and home-price appreciation because its largest employers sell the bulk of their products overseas, count the world’s biggest multinational companies among their customers and suppliers,… Continue reading
